COURSE CONTENT
The course is designed for English speakers. Because English and Sicilian are very different languages, I explain things in English for most of the course so that you can understand the main concepts more easily, and the transition to Sicilian is smoother and easier to understand.
No previous knowledge of the language is required.
The beginner's course is designed for those who are starting from scratch, which is why it starts from the absolute basics. However, the course is also perfect for advanced beginners, as the difficulty of the lessons will gradually increase.
IN MY COURSE YOU WILL LEARN:
BASIC EXPRESSIONS AND GRAMMAR
Learn essential Sicilian greetings and how to address people using age-related pronouns. We will cover key grammatical structures, including articles, gender, number, and prepositions, giving you a strong foundation to understand more complex topics.
DAILY LIFE EXPRESSIONS
Develop practical communication skills for everyday situations. You’ll learn how to introduce yourself, ask and answer questions about your name, age, and time, express gratitude, apologize, and confidently order food and drinks while asking for prices.
PRONUNCIATION AND NUMBERS:
Master the Sicilian alphabet, numbers, and key pronunciation rules, including double consonants, digraphs, and diacritical marks. Proper pronunciation is crucial for understanding and being understood, helping you build confidence in conversations.
VOCABULARY AND LISTENING PRACTICE:
Expand your vocabulary step by step with lessons on colors, animals, food, seasons, and days of the week. Through listening exercises, dialogues, and targeted practice, you’ll develop the skills to understand and participate in basic conversations in Sicilian.

This video shows what the course, videos, and additional materials look like.
The course has several sections, containing over 65 video lessons and exercises. I recommend watching the sessions in order, as the course offers a sequential and logical learning path.
Remember that you can always go back and watch the lessons as often as needed.
All videos are in FULL HD and you can adjust the speed, audio, and quality.
In all my videos, I try to use as many visual elements as possible, such as pictures, tables, and graphs. At the same time, you can also see me talking directly to you, making the lessons as engaging and entertaining as possible.
